Drug Interactions
Avoid taking any supplemental vitamin A while taking Accutane® as the two are related and have overlapping side effects (see below). The Food and Drug Administration has issued the precaution to avoid taking any supplemental vitamin A, even the small doses found in most multivitamins, while taking Accutane®. You may take a multivitamin that does not contain vitamin A, such as ebA* (*everything but “A”®) Multivitamin Supplement®, during your Accutane® course.
