Bloody Diarrhea

Fewer than 1% of Accutane® users develop bloody diarrhea. Notify of your doctor before starting Accutane® if you have ever had blood in your stool, any unaccounted GI symptoms or a history of ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease (inflammatory bowel disease). Notify your doctor if you develop bleeding from the rectum, bloody diarrhea or any persistent unusual GI symptoms during Accutane® treatment.

FDA precaution: Avoid supplemental vitamin A while taking Accutane. ebA* (*everything but "A") Multivitamin Supplement contains no
vitamin A.
